Accreditation

Every main centre that offers Driving Assessments in the UK must undergo an assessment to gain accreditation. The accrediting body is Driving Mobility. www.drivingmobility.org.uk

The accreditation process is undertaken to ensure that the needs of service users and stakeholders are met and that assessments are conducted in an appropriate and professional way. Whilst it is acknowledged that Centres reflect the culture of their organisation, it is expected that they can demonstrate a consistency of approach – both in using the standards set out by Driving Mobility, and throughout the service including outreach and satellite operations.

East Anglian DriveAbility Thetford gained full accreditation in December 2022.

East Anglian DriveAbility Colchester gained full accreditation in September 2018.
